We are looking for a suitable candidate for Systems Engineer and Software Developer. Positions to be based at our Technology Department in Suva Office. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

 

Systems Engineer:

  • The role of the Systems Engineer will provide critical thinking and a high degree of technical innovation and attention to detail while being recognised as a trusted advisor to the team and stakeholders. The characteristics include being versatile, displaying leadership qualities and enthusiasm to take on new problems across the full SDLC, ultimately assisting in moving technology forward.
  • The role drives automation through understanding processes and implementing improvements and actively contribute to the journey of automation providing technical acumen to transform traditional run functionality to a mature DevOps.

The successful candidate should have the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated industry experience in supporting mission-critical database environments in Oracle and MS SQL.
  • Evidence of use of industry standard software processes for code quality, change management and data science model delivery, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • ITIL certification

Salary Band 7: $43,411 Base Salary

 

 

Software Developer:

  • The Software Developer plays a lead role in the system development and adoption of new processes and platforms that will lead the way in which FRCS ICT communicates, deliver services, provide information and engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • The Software Developer role provides specialist technical expertise in the design, development and catalogue of System Integrations & platform for connecting applications, data and equipment, in a large and complex operational technology environment and rapidly growing information data eco-system.

The successful candidate should have the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated industry experience in full stack development, server-side programming language Java and C#.net skills mandatory. Practical SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • ITIL certification

Salary Band 7: $43,411 Base Salary
