We are currently in the midst of an exciting journey which will make tax simpler, more certain and easier to manage for most   if not all Fijians.  We are looking for suitable candidate for the position of Analyst.

The Analyst is responsible in undertaking analysis of economic and statistical data and provision of sound reports and advice; revenue forecasting, modelling and impact analysis; conducting comprehensive research and developing high quality policy papers pertaining to Taxation and Customs; formulation of monthly board papers; provision of technical input in presentations, Board, Executive or ministerial advice, media releases and speaking notes; analysis of International Taxation and Customs laws, International Trade Agreements and Double Tax Agreements; provision of daily revenue reports to management and updating of the revenue database and Providing assistance in the Annual National Budget Works and Market Surveys.

The suitable candidate must have a strong Degree in Economics or related field and at least two-years’ relevant experience. Competent in the use of econometrics and Microsoft Office applications with Tax & Customs knowledge will be desirable.

Base Salary: Band 5: $30,230
