Prior to this appointment she was the Chief Auditor – Debt Management Services , a role that she assumed since April 2012.

She is responsible for leading the Audit , Compliance and Financial Intelligence teams under the new Intelligence, Compliance and Investigation Division. Ms. Dawai has previous work experience with the Ministry of Economy, Office of the Auditor General and with the Customs Division.
